Salvatore (KWPN) x Routinier (Old)
Unscripted DT, or "Bentley" as he is known, is the first warmblood foal produced by DreamTime Equestrian. Bentley is a flashy young colt with an abundance of personality. As the first foal out of our Canadian Warmblood mare, Regal Jewel II, we weren't too sure what to expect – but boy did she deliver. She made sure to add her chrome, with a little bit of ginger spice in his personality, of course!
Not only does Bentley have the looks, but he also has an impressive pedigree. His sire, Salvatore (Cavalier x Leandro), was an approved and registered KWPN stallion with an extensive FEI 1.50m+ showjumping record. At the age of 20, Salvatore competed in FEI 1.50m 4* divisions with an amateur rider, jumping many clear rounds with top placings. At the same show, he then went on to compete in the hunter divisions, including a hunter derby, where he also received top placings. Salvatore was known for passing along his soundness, athleticism, and great personality. This sire line also extends back to greats in the sport of showjumping, including Cavalier and Landgraf I.
Bentley's dam line is also impressive, including foundational stallions such as Rubinstein I and Northern Dancer. His dam, Regal Jewel II, is a registered Canadian Warmblood sired by Routinier who competed in dressage at the FEI Prix St. Georges level. This damsire line also includes top dressage stallion Rubinstein I. Jewel's damline consists of Thoroughbreds who have proven themselves as both successful racers and showjumpers, and traces back to the prestigious Northern Dancer.
While Bentley was bred as a future showjumper, with bloodlines like these we expect him to excel in any direction life takes him. We can't wait to watch him develop!
